Moroccan leather industry has perfectly embodied the ancestral know-how of Morocco. As such, it benefits from special attention in order to expand its value chain by the establishment of a new industrial focus group for all accessories necessary for the transformation of leather products.

There are about 300 industrial units operating in the sector including 61 tanneries and the exports are estimated at 2.8 billion dirhams (~ 285   million US dollars).

Undergoing a full restructuring process, leather industry is led by three seasoned ecosystems which integrate innovation trades into the production chain and guarantee the export of:
